Bowler Hat
Description:
An eight-paneled denim bowler hat with lining constructed from pre-owned denims.
Skills learned:
Hat construction, making fabric buttons.
Moment most enjoyed:
Placement of pattern pieces on various distressed parts of the unpicked denim pieces to get interesting design elements on the panels.
Men's Denim Jeans
Description:
A pair of men's denim jeans cut and constructed
from pre-washed blue denim fabric.
Skills learned:
Jeans construction including pockets, waistband, fly and belt loops.
Handling the twin-needle machine.
Moment most enjoyed:
The entire process was a memorable learning experience.
